What this medicine is for
For warming relief of rheumatic and muscular pain and the symptoms of sprains and strains.
Before you use this medicine
Do not use:
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients
On broken or sensitive skin (e.g. around the eyes and groin or on the lining of the eyes, mouth or nose)
Under plasters or dressings
Talk to your pharmacist or doctor:
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
Information about some of the ingredients in this medicine:
Cetostearyl alcohol may cause skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis). E218 in this medicine may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
This cream may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Keep treated areas out of direct sunlight but do not cover with plasters or dressings.
How to use this medicine
Check the seal is not broken before first use. If it is, do not use the cream. Pierce tube seal with end of cap.
Massage the cream gently into the affected area until the cream is completely absorbed.
Adults and children: Apply to the affected area at least twice a day.
Use the cream until the symptoms go away.
Wash your hands after using the cream.
Apply to the skin only.
If anyone accidentally swallows some: Talk to a pharmacist or doctor.
Possible side effects
Most people will not have problems, but some may get some.
It is normal for the cream to make the affected area red and feel warm a few minutes after applying. This is related to the way the cream relieves pain, sprains and strains.
However, if you get any of the following side effects, stop using the cream and see a doctor:
- Allergic reactions such as skin rashes, very red or very itchy skin, blistering of the skin, or a severe burning sensation
If any side effect becomes severe, or you notice any side effect not listed here, please tell your pharmacist or doctor.
How to store this medicine
Do not store above 25°C.
Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
Use by the date on the end flap of the carton.
Active ingredients
This cream contains Ethyl Nicotinate 2% w/w, Hexyl Nicotinate 2% w/w, Tetrahydrofurfuryl Salicylate 14% w/w.
Also contains: purified water, cetostearyl alcohol, stearic acid, sorbitan monostearate, polysorbate 20, methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), perfume.
